My question is not 'Why does McLeish persist with Fahey', but is instead 'Why does he play him out of position?' when his best role is central midfield. He is not a wde midfield player and we have others who are better in that position. |

He hasn't come into games as much as I thought he would when he has started. It's dissapointing as I thought he would make more impact once he got an opportunity, Fahey is capable and is a tidy footballer but I wouldn't start him. |

I had a little moan about him last week after the Everton and Sunderland games. But got the usual rubbish. The league of Ireland to the Premier league via the Championship is a massive step up in a short space of time. Although if we are to progress we should be looking to offload the likes of him, Larrson & McFadden and bring in better quality players simple as. Players with pace that will attack defenders and take them on and get quailty balls in to the box. Ridgewell is more attack minded and finds himself in good goal scoring situation more than the players above. |

Yeah I think he is a very good player , and I think people like lowdham have noting better to do when we lose a game other than pick someone out to slate. We are 9th in the premiership on our first season back and for Fahey he has gone from the league of ireland to the premiership in less than 12 months.... That is a massive , massive step up in anyones book and for me he has done very well , out of position as well. I think he is one who we will see the best out of next season, and yes for me he is premiership standard , and if given the chance to show it in the centre of the park , or even from wide left next year he will. :banner: |
